With over 25 years in the Disability Services sector, with a rich tapestry of roles that range from direct support to administrative and coordination positions. This extensive experience is further deepened by a personal lifetime of lived experience, providing a unique and empathetic perspective on the needs and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. As the Director of Reality Support Services, my journey from a Registered Sole Trader to establishing a NDIS Registered Company in 2022, underscores a commitment to delivering quality support coordination and Counselling.

My expertise encompasses working with complex support needs and networks within both mainstream and NDIS systems, demonstrating a versatile skill set that caters to a wide array of participant requirements. The dedication to serving diverse communities is evident through extensive work with LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, and CALD participants and families. This inclusive approach ensures that services are tailored to meet the specific cultural and individual needs of each participant.

I provide a diverse range of Counselling and Mental Health services including individual therapy, Grief and Loss, Mental Health therapy, Depression and Anxiety. I work with various assessment tools such as DASS-21, GAD, K10, MSE and use a person-centred approach with other treatments such as CBT, Grounding techniques, ACT, ABC and many more.

The passion for the field is matched by a love for life outside of work, where I find joy in the company of parrots and pets and unwinds with the light-hearted entertainment of romantic comedies and reality TV. This balance of professional dedication and personal enjoyment paints a picture of someone who is not only accomplished in their field but also well-rounded and relatable.
